OUR HISTORY

1940

Humble Origins

The history of Viemme was born from the tradition of the Visentin family, when some descendants in the course of the last century began metalworking.
The story begins in Colloredo where Gino Visentin had his shop, “Ino favaro”. He was the blacksmith of the country known throughout the district for the artistic vein of his creations and for the expertise in welding, a technique he had learned during the war in Albania working in an oil field. It is in the father’s workshop that Mariano Visentin is passionate about mechanics.

2005

Quality certification

The continuous evolution of the precision mechanics market, which sees an increasingly attentive clientele for quality, service and competitiveness, has led Viemme Srl to adopt methods that guarantee these objectives, with particular reference to the UNI Quality Management System. EN ISO 9001, introduced already in the year 2005.
